Dasher is a plugin that replaces the super-slow default WordPress Dashboard with a simple, configurable page. Aunt Millie doesn’t care what’s going on with WordPress development this week anyway, so why not show her something useful instead? Dasher supports two types of content – PHP ‘blocks’ and RSS feeds. See the included blocks and feeds for examples.
Installation and use: Extract the archive to your WordPress plugins folder. This should give you a dasher folder with dasher.php and a folder of blocks. Activate the plugin. Configure what’s displayed at Manage:Dashboard.
