Ghost leaves
Long after all the other leaves have fallen, these leaves hang on, looking and sounding spooky. I found these at Wheaton Regional Park, where I also learned there’s still way too much slushy snow to wear Converse All-Stars.

Tire bumper on the Husky II
When I was there last year the Husky II looked pretty rough – it was surrounded by containment boom and looked like it had been underwater recently. I don’t know why the old thing really needs these tire bumpers – I can’t imagine anyone would want to tie up to it.

We went to Annapolis last weekend to take the car in for a checkup and spent a couple of hours wandering around town looking for beer and bratwurst, which we found at McGarvey’s.
