Taft Bridge

This is the pretty bridge that carries Connecticut Avenue over Rock Creek Park.

Summer is here, at least for this weekend! We’ve been making this cranberry punch a lot, mixing a little lime and cranberry juice with ginger beer.

Spring is here, or at least the crocuses think so! Cherry blossoms can’t be far behind, so you can expect to see some of those here soon.

I snapped this as we skirted the crowd in Chinatown at the Lunar New Year festival.

I don’t think I’ve ever actually gotten off the Metro here – I was taking the long way to a baseball game when I took this.
