Longline hooks on a fishing boat I got to check out during a trip to Alaska last summer. I felt like a complete dork climbing down the slippery ladder and walking around the boat in my motorcycle boots.
Taken in Sterling, Alaska during an ill-advised winter trip back to Alaska in 2003, probably the trip where I vowed to never visit between October and March.
This lovely photo of a halibut face was taken with a Canon Rebel G film camera – the one that Andre Agassi did ads like this for. I still have the camera but don’t use it much since a Spotmatic is way cooler and doesn’t use huge lithium batteries.
