We caught a few of these at Lake Needwood. We brought worms for bait but pretty much everything we tried worked. Flipping and dragging a little plastic grub was probably best.

We’ve been growing these things since early in the pandemic, I think we’ve transplanted about 10 of them out into the yard. I haven’t pulled any up to see if there are actual carrots growing. It feels a little silly, but there’s something hopeful about the whole process.
